Southeast Immigrant Rights Network
At the Southeast Immigrant Rights Network (SEIRN) we work to empower immigrant communities in the Southeast region. We strongly believe that immigrants who live the devastating impact of our country’s immigration policies should lead the struggle for immigrant rights.
SEIRN helps build that grassroots collective power in the Southeast region through our annual conference, local grassroots organizing and leadership trainings, and popular education workshops that help us connect the immigrant rights struggle to the broader movement for dignity and human rights in the South.
Your donation helps us:
-
host spaces to bring together community leaders, organizers and allies for leadership development, political analysis, solidarity building and collaboration
-
cover travel, lodging, and childcare for grassroots leaders to attend our annual conference
-
promote language justice by providing simultaneous interpretation in all our meetings, gatherings, conference calls, and annual conferences to break down barriers and build bridges
-
invest in our children who are our present and future by providing a space for them to learn and share their vision for social justice, and celebrate diverse cultures and traditions through handcrafts, storytelling and other activities at our gatherings
