Registration extended to September 19th!

SEIRN’s 2018 Conference will take place October 5-7 in Cleveland, Georgia (approximately 1 hour and a half north of Atlanta). The Conference will begin at 6 pm on Friday the 5th and end at 1 pm on Sunday the 7th. There will be an optional session for SEIRN members about how to resist ICE in the Trump era on Friday from 10 am to 5 pm.

Registration

Registration for the Conference is now open!

Registration has been extended until September 19th. The last day to receive a partial reimbursement for a cancelled registration was September 12th. We are very sorry that we are unable to reimburse registration or lodging fees for cancellations after this date.

Any registrations that remain unpaid by September 21 will be cancelled. This is necessary because after that date, SEIRN is unable to change the number of participants and we will be charged for each person on the list, whether or not they attend the conference.

Registration fees (does not include lodging)
Fees for children

There is a $25 per child for children between the ages of 3 and 14 to cover lodging, food, and childcare. There is no charge for children 2 and under, and children 15 and older pay the full lodging fee.

Lodging

The conference will take place at a campsite and retreat center. Most of the lodging consists of dorm style cabins with bunkbeds for 14 people. There is a limited number of family/small group rooms with bunkbeds for 4 to 6 people, and an even more limited number of hotel style rooms for 2 to 3 people. Lodging will be assigned on a first come, first served basis, also taking special needs into consideration. If you would like to stay in a family/small group or hotel style room, it is important that you complete your reservation as soon as possible.

Scholarships

The deadline for applying for a scholarship was September 6. If you did not apply for a scholarship before this date, please feel free to contact Richard at richard@seirn.org to inquire if there are still scholarship funds available. However, please note that our scholarship funds are very limited, and you will only be considered for a scholarship if there are remaining funds after the first round of scholarships (groups that submitted the scholarship application by the deadline) is awarded.

Participants who receive a scholarship are expected to attend the entire Conference (with the exception of the special session, which is optional).
